Businesses of all sizes today need a connection to the internet. Selecting the right kind of service and provider is not always as simple as it sounds. Very small businesses that do not supply internet services like web pages or email can often employ business DSL or in some areas, business CABLE connectivity.
But if you business runs internet servcies, uses VoIP services or has a lot of users, the choices become more difficult to determine. We have relationships with service providers to bring:
- T1 / DS3 data connections to the internet. Today, in most markets you may also need to deploy both VoIP and data over the same T1. We will help you determine your need and work with the carrier(s) to provide you with a tested and reliable solution. We will also write the justification for your IP address block so that you will get the IPs you need.
- If you need more bandwidth than a single T1 (1.5 Mbps bandwidth), you may want to bond two or more T1s to increase your bandwidth. Each time you bond in another you increase your business bandwidth by 1.5 Mbps. Not all providers support bonding, so we will help you select carriers that enable you to preserve your existing business relationship.
- T1 PRI - Complete with (Direct Inbound Digits/Dial) DIDs. Each voice T1 can handle up to 23 simultaneous calls, if you bond T1s for voice you increase your call channels by 23 or 24 for each additional T1. VoIP systems may be configured to use T1 PRIs and your calling needs will dictate which provider or providers give you the least cost calling. We'll write justifications as needed to get you the number of inbound DIDs (each DID can be thought of as a unique telephone number).
